Doug Horn Trio
March 31 @ 7:15 pm - 10:30 pm
| Free – $12.00Multi-saxophonist and jazz master Doug Horn is truly one-of-a-kind. Doug’s jazz larger-then-life personality is shaped by his wide-ranging and eclectic influences, spanning from Phil Woods, Dexter Gordon, Charlie Parker and Buddy Rich to Patsy Kline, Eddie Arnold, Ray Charles and The Three Stooges. Doug is a fun and free-wheeling entertainer whose stage presentation is always delightful and surprising. Doug prefers to perform acoustically, with no microphones or amplifiers (in his words: “We are AHP – All Human Powered.”)
The Doug Horn Trio’s repertoire draws mainly from the Great American Songbook, the bebop catalog of Charlie Parker and Doug’s own memorable original compositions.
