Jazz fans are assembling at the corner of Summit Street and Jefferson on September 17, 2022, at 10am for a street renaming ceremony at that time to honor Clifford Murphy, proprietor of downtown Toledo’s esteemed jazz venue, Murphy’s Place. Later that night, there is an ‘Afterparty’ at Lucille’s Jazz Lounge, with doors opening at 7:15pm. Musicians are welcomed to sit-in during the performance.

All door proceeds to benefit the Toledo Jazz Orchestra.

Founded in 2021, Lucille’s is a publicly accessible jazz lounge which is located inside TolHouse, a private, Members-only social club designed for the city-dwelling creative and entrepreneurial class.
