The short version.

When you visit lucillesjazzlounge.com, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, time on page, what device and browser you’re on, and roughly where in the world you are (country / region level, not your address). This is anonymized aggregate data; we can’t identify you personally from it.

If you click through to buy tickets via Eventbrite, sign up for our newsletter, or contact us by email, that information is collected by those services directly. We never see your payment details. Eventbrite and Constant Contact each have their own privacy policies.

We look at analytics to understand which shows people are most interested in, how they find us, and whether the site is working on the devices they’re using. That’s the entire point. We use this data to improve the site, decide how to program the room, and occasionally to retarget our own ads on social platforms.

Cookies are small files browsers store to remember things between page loads. We use:

• Google Analytics cookies — for the analytics described above. These expire after roughly two years.
• Functional cookies — if any future feature requires remembering preferences (none currently), it would store them here.

You can block cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them; we just lose visibility into how it’s being used.

Some parts of the experience are powered by other companies. When you interact with these features, you’re also subject to their privacy practices:

• Google Analytics — site analytics. Google’s privacy policy
• Eventbrite — ticketing for most shows. When you click “Get Tickets” you’re sent to Eventbrite’s site, and any account / payment info is handled there. Eventbrite’s privacy policy
• Constant Contact — if you sign up for our newsletter, your email lives there. Constant Contact’s privacy policy
• Vercel — the platform hosting this site. They keep server logs (IP, request path) for operational purposes. Vercel’s privacy policy

We do not sell, trade, or rent any personal information to third parties. We don’t maintain a customer database for the public site — there’s nothing to sell. If we ever changed this, we’d update this page first and notify newsletter subscribers.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR (Europe) or CCPA (California). These typically include the right to:

• Know what information we have about you
• Request that we delete it
• Opt out of having data collected at all
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

For analytics specifically, you can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or using a privacy-focused browser. For anything else, email us and we’ll handle it.

Lucille’s is a 21+ venue and the website isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we’ll remove it.

We may revise this policy as the site grows or laws change. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted prominently on the site for a reasonable window before taking effect.
